Yesterday in kenyasi Police Training School, the Ahafo Regional Director of YEA together with the Regional Minister, Hon. Charity Gardener, Bono Regional Director, Mr. Mustapha Omar Copson, various MMDCE’s and YEA district Directors held a passing-out ceremony for the second batch of Community Protection Assistance. In Total, 220 beneficiaries have gone through the rigorous training which has equipped them with the necessary skills needed to carry out their duties diligently. Some of these Beneficiaries in future will have the chance to transition from the blue uniforms to the Black uniforms when the Ghana Police Service are recruiting personnel. This is based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the GPS and YEA before the commencement of the program.
