YEA CEO Hosts BusStop Boys in Strategic Engagement on Urban Sanitation
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has reaffirmed its dedication to youth-driven development and environmental sustainability through a strategic engagement with the BusStop Boys — a passionate group of young changemakers committed to cleaning Ghana’s cities, pro bono.
In recognition of their inspiring efforts, the Chief Executive Officer of YEA personally invited the BusStop Boys for an insightful conversation on how the Agency can support and scale their impact. The meeting highlighted the group’s alignment with YEA’s Sanitation Model, which focuses on creating sustainable jobs while promoting cleaner and healthier communities.
The BusStop Boys, widely admired for their volunteer-driven sanitation campaigns, shared their vision for cleaner cities and their desire to mobilize more young people for national transformation. The discussion explored avenues for partnership, including capacity-building, structured support, and employment opportunities under YEA’s sanitation initiatives.
“We’re truly inspired by their passion and commitment to service,” said the CEO of YEA. “This engagement marks the beginning of a strong partnership that not only empowers youth but also transforms our environment.”
The Agency looks forward to working closely with the group to institutionalize their efforts and expand their reach across the country.
