YEA Management Engages Upper West Regional Staff to Strengthen Collaboration and Service Delivery

As part of the Youth Employment Agency’s ongoing nationwide engagement with staff and stakeholders, the Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, Malik Basintale, together with the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Abubakari Saana Abdul-Kudus, and members of Management, met with staff of the Upper West Regional Office to discuss the Agency’s vision, operational goals, and commitment to sustainable youth employment.

The engagement formed part of Management’s broader regional tour aimed at strengthening collaboration within the Agency, boosting staff morale, and enhancing institutional effectiveness in the delivery of employment and skills development programmes across the country.

During the interaction, Management acknowledged the important role staff continue to play in implementing YEA initiatives and ensuring that opportunities created by the Agency reach young people in communities throughout the region.

The Deputy CEO, Mr. Abdul-Kudus, encouraged staff to remain disciplined, committed, and steadfast in the discharge of their responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, dedication, and teamwork in advancing the Agency’s mission and achieving meaningful impact through its programmes.

According to him, the success of the Agency’s interventions depends significantly on the commitment and conduct of staff members at both the regional and district levels.

He urged staff to continue working with integrity and dedication while maintaining a high standard of service delivery in all their engagements with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Addressing the staff, the CEO, Mr. Basintale, commended the team for their efforts and contributions toward supporting youth employment initiatives in the Upper West Region.

He encouraged staff to take pride in their roles within the Agency and to continue representing YEA positively through their work, conduct, and the impact they create within their communities.

Mr. Basintale noted that the Agency’s mission extends beyond job creation, as it also seeks to restore hope and provide opportunities that can transform the lives of young people across Ghana.

“Our work directly affects the future of many young people. Every programme we implement and every opportunity we create contributes to changing lives and building stronger communities. Staff should therefore continue to serve with dedication and pride,” he stated.

The CEO further reaffirmed Management’s commitment to working closely with staff to improve operations, strengthen institutional support systems, and expand employment opportunities for young people within the region and across the country.

He also assured staff that Management remains focused on implementing innovative interventions and strengthening partnerships that will contribute to sustainable job creation and skills development for the youth.

The engagement provided an opportunity for staff to interact directly with Management, share ideas, discuss operational challenges, and propose recommendations aimed at improving programme implementation and service delivery within the region.

Staff members expressed appreciation for the visit and commended Management for maintaining direct engagement with regional offices and demonstrating commitment to staff welfare and institutional growth.

The ongoing regional engagements continue to reinforce the Agency’s dedication to building a motivated workforce and ensuring effective coordination in the implementation of programmes designed to empower young Ghanaians.
