The leadership of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Divisional Union of the Public Services Workers Union (PSWU) of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) In the company of the Brother Bernard Adjei the General Secretary of the PSWU, on 1st September 2022, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr. Kofi Baah Agyepong in his office.

The leadership of the Union was received by the Chief Executive Officer, in the Agency’s Conference Room, flanked by the Director, Human Resources, Mr. David Adagblenya and the Head of Legal, Mr. Henry Asante. The meeting was to afford a formal introduction between the new Chief Executive and the Union leadership and to promote a cordial working relationship between the two entities.

The CEO expressed his appreciation for the visit and his commitment to work with the Union. On his part, the General Secretary congratulated the CEO on his appointment and pledged the support of the Union towards the growth of the Agency.

Some issues that featured in the discussion included the need for equitable distribution of work, staff attitude towards work, staff promotions and payment of Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
